1. I don't know. I know that drafts...Hi Linda,

1. I don't know. I know that drafts of official documents have been uploaded to www.pacificyearlymeeting.org. I don't know if that includes The Daily Miracle, which is where the letter appeared.

2. In the letter, Friends of color said they often felt ignored, not greeted. They asked that everyone make a point of greeting each other, especially people new to yearly meeting, whether they are Friends of color or not.

I have the text of the letter on paper and will think about typing it up and posting it if I get a chance. Or someone from your meeting who was at PYM might have it.Chris M.https://www.blogger.com/profile/05125825966802002625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15715889.post-60290990003992615112009-08-14T08:37:17.918-07:002009-08-14T08:37:17.918-07:00Thanks for posting this, Chris.
I have questions...Thanks for posting this, Chris.
I have questions about: Friends of color wrote an open letter to the community, naming a certain level of interracial tension, asked to be greeted, and asked the Yearly Meeting to support Vanessa’s return in 2010.

1) is the full text of this letter available online anywhere?
2) I don't understand this part: "asked to be greeted."Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07902966318737643742noreply@blogger.com
